Description:
Provide systems engineering
and integration support to Department of Defense(DoD)
GPS program. Provide engineering oversight and guidance
on the technical requirements for the Modernized User
Equipment (MUE) program. Participate in design reviews
and technical working groups to ensure technical
requirements are met. Develop and manage interface
requirements for MUE. Support interface control document
working groups, technical document reviews, receiver
card/LRU integration, and test. Coordinate with
Protection of Navigation (PRONAV) team to maintain
consistency between technical requirements document and
Protection Profile security requirements. Identify risks
and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide
technical input to the Cost Analysis Requirements
Document and the MUE Operations Concept (OPSCON).

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in
engineering or computer science
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of
relevant experience
Qualifications:
Required – Technical knowledge on GPS Precise
Positioning Service (PPS) receivers; experience in
hardware and software development; proficient with
Microsoft Office software programs (Word, PowerPoint,
Excel);
US citizen eligible for
access to government classified
information.
Desired – Experience with DoD acquisition programs and
DoD systems engineering processes
