Education:
BSEE required; MS preferred

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years related experience.
Extensive “Hands On” experience with the realization of MCU-based reference designs and implementation of such designs in various end applications. Ability to oversee competitive benchmarking efforts, and to propose alternative value-added solutions. Generation of value-added IP and application notes, and contribution to technical journal articles.

Responsibilities:
Has a sound technical understanding of leading microcontroller architectures (hardware and software) and end applications. Reviews system solutions offered by competitors on a continuous basis, and performs detailed competitive analysis at the component and system level. Devises and realizes reference designs (hardware and software), characterizes and debugs the designs, prepares technical documents, and works with customers to implement the designs in the end solutions. Reference designs will be based on existing product families and new generations of products, as well as required complementary products offered by other companies Provides technical support to customers during the design-in phase Participates in and contributes to cross-functional project teams. Devises value added system level IP, and publishes technical articles in trade journals
